My
Story
Putting Our Students First
"I believe that the primary responsibility of School Boards is to prioritize the well-being and success of students. My commitment to this role as a Public School Trustee dates back to 2014, when I first ran for Trustee in the municipal election. I then served as a Trustee in York Region from 2017 to 2022. During this time, I gained a deep understanding of the Trustee role, which requires fostering transparent communication between school administration, parents, taxpayers, and the broader community. I am grateful for the opportunity to leverage my experience and advocate for the needs of students and the communities we serve in Calgary."

My Family Life
"Being a working mother with two children in the Calgary school system —I fully understand the challenges of balancing school and family responsibilities. Like many, we all share a vested interest in the well-being of our community and children, and we strive to find the time to voice our needs. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as your voice, acting as a bridge between the School Board and the communities of Wards 5 and 10."

“Our goal of improving our education system is the same; we must work as a team to achieve needed growth for our students.”
